Meet Jacco
Have you met our colleague Jacco yet? Jacco is responsible for drawing and designing our Thrusters in 3D. We both manufacture new thrusters and refurbish existing ones. Jacco also draws the various components used for this purpose. These components are then sent to our clamping and construction department for production.
Meet Gerald
If you encounter a problem with your ship, Gerald van Rijn is the first point of contact.
With 28 years of experience under his belt, you can be sure that by simply asking him a few questions, he will quickly find the cause and provide a solution to the problem.
Call him driven and fanatical, but he knows what he is talking about. In addition to his work being his hobby, he also thoroughly enjoys cycling along the dykes and through the polders, as long as he has the river in sight.
Meet Rick
During his 14 years at Schraven B.V., he has been to many places around the world. From Estonia to South Africa and from Singapore to Réunion, he carries out the perfect repair or assembly work on the ship on site, using the resources available. Rick is a calm, respectful, contented and intelligent young man who does not shy away from a challenge.
Meet Dennis
Dennis has been working in the machining department for almost 24 years, operating various machines, from a Juaristi TX3S boring machine to a Gurutzpe GL10.5.6 CNC lathe, and he is a master at his craft. Together with Hertwie, who has been working at Schraven B.V. for 28 years, they produce, overhaul and modify items such as seal flanges, steering pipes, support pipes, upper and lower water housings. Having all the knowledge in-house means that we are hardly dependent on suppliers, so that speed of delivery remains paramount.
