Schraven summer BBQ !
Last Friday, we kicked off the start of the summer with a great BBQ together with our team. A perfect moment to reflect on a busy and successful winter season and to look ahead to an energetic summer! The BBQ was once again perfectly catered by @smaakcateraar, thank you for the excellent service!

Posidonia Events 2026
We will be attending Posidonia Events 2026 (Juni 2-4, Metropolitan Expo, Athens) for the first time.
During this visit, we are keen to explore the Greek and regional maritime market and connect with interesting partners. We welcome open conversations and new connections.

Planned maintenance
For a new client in Germany, we completed the scheduled maintenance on the Schottel STP200 Twin propeller system fitted to their passenger ship. The propulsion system was fully overhauled and tested in our workshop and delivered back to Germany, ready for reliable operation. This is how we operate at Schraven B.V.: straightforward, skilled and dependable.
Wiljan, 25 years of service!
This is not an April fools joke, but a milestone: Wiljan has been working at Schraven B.V. for 25 years. As a Welding and Metal Fabricator, he has become a true master of his craft.
With his experience and reliable workmanship, he has been a steady and trusted member of our team for many years. The younger staff know where to find him for advice, and fortunately he still shares his knowledge with great enthusiasm. Wiljan, thank you for your dedication, your craftsmanship and your commitment. Retirement may be peeking around the corner, but we are grateful that we can still build on and with you!
A job well done!
We recently replaced the propeller shaft seals on a Schottel SRP300 for one of our regular customers. Thanks to our engineer, the leakage was quickly repaired, ensuring everything is now fully operational and ready for many safe miles ahead. We wish the crew a safe voyage!
